20 minutes from the track.

Let’s be real… why are you coming? It’s to make memories with a large group of friends at the greatest 2 minutes in sports….the KY DERBY. 

So, DO IT RIGHT !!! Why pay $3,000 for 400 SF in a hotel room, or $7,000+ for an absolutely beautiful home where you’re afraid to even use the toilet. When you can divide $5000 amongst 10+ people for 6,000 SF of space, peace, quiet and relaxation at our country estate. PLUS……toilets for the average commoner that you’re not afraid to sit on or hug – either is acceptable. 

By rsvp’ing our gated abode, you’ll be located out in the country, where you can enjoy the peace & quiet away from the city lights & city noise after a long day at the track.  So yeah, we’re not a hop, skip or a jump from the track or downtown.  But you’re coming to make memories at one the most legendary sporting sites in the world; Churchill Downs – right? Your time needs to be spent at the track, not restaurants – just saying. 

Now, how far out are we?  Doesn’t matter;   whether you want to peruse  the city after the races or head straight back to “country quiet,” we’ve priced the rental to allow for you to save $$ to put towards Uber charges. 

As for food…. The Ville has every type of restaurant imaginable, but be prepared to give your kidney and lungs, and hope you have rsvps.  But really, if you’ve eaten at one high priced fancy restaurant, you’ve eaten at them all – right? Just remember why you’re here? Churchill Downs, Horses, Mint Juleps, & memories. 

Now…. If you want the full Derby experience, may I recommend staying at the track through the last race of each day, coming back and ordering-in  (bearnos pizza is my fav!!) to eat out on the deck or poolside while celebrating your winnings or “donations,” and air-dropping your friends your derby memories – pics of: horses,  winning tickets, ladies dresses & hats,  the men’s funky outfits and that drunk person. Yes, drunk PERSON, because it could be a male, female young or old. Remember… it’s the 8th wonder of the world mixed with alcohol, LOTS of alcohol…. No telling what you might see.
