Welcome to St. Matthews, the heart of Louisville! You will be in the middle of it all while you’re here for Derby, as well as being close to tons of great restaurants, bars, and grocery stores.
Our stylish home sleeps 6 people comfortably with 2 full baths. We take pride in cleanliness and comfort! The house has 2 living rooms, a dining room, a finished basement, and an incredible, well furnished backyard set up for lounging and dining. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are all updated. We have 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds. See note below if you have children as we have lots to accommodate there. The neighborhood is quaint and very safe. This is the perfect area to stay in for Derby!

- 2nd Floor: Master King bed, sitting area.
- 2nd Floor: Full size crib, glider, ottoman nursery set up.
- 2nd Floor: Full bath (tub/shower)
- 1st Floor: Bedroom 2—Queen bed, shared full bath with vanity and shower.
- 1st Floor: Bedroom 3—Twin Daybed, shared full bath with vanity and shower.
- Basement: Bedroom 4—Twin Daybed, desk area if you need to work and TV in this space. Note there is no bathroom down here.
- 1st Floor: There are two living room areas and an in door dining table.
- TVs in the back Den, Basement, and Master bedroom.
- Comfortable outdoor sitting area (1 large sofa and 2 large upholstered rocking chairs) and outdoor dining (seats 6-8). Note: We are in the process of installing an awning for the back porch. This will be done in time for Derby! Also note that the photos of this space were taken in February at the end of winter, so this whole area will be power washed/cleaned before your arrival.

If you have children:
We have a nursery set up and can provide an additional pack n’ play, toddler blow-up bed, and anything else you may need to entertain your children! Toys, highchair, sound machines, etc. We are also more than happy to give you a list of babysitters that we personally use. We are walking distance to a playground. We have a non-toxic turf area in our side yard that has a kids playhouse.
Terms
- $5,500 for four days, three nights, arriving Thursday before Derby (May 2) at 3 PM, departing Sunday after (May 5) at Noon.
- To welcome you to Kentucky, you’ll receive a complimentary bottle of Kentucky bourbon.
- Additional nights available upon request.
- Non-smoking and no pets.
- Refundable $1,000 damage deposit required and will be refunded within 24 hours of departure; $250 cleaning fee (deducted from damage deposit)
- This is a quiet neighborhood, so please no late night or loud parties.
- 50% due at time of booking (non-refundable); remaining balance and damage deposit by April 1, 2023 or 15 days in advance, whichever comes first.
